University of Sindh has announced the schedule of Academic Council election 2016. According to notification issued by Registrar, the election for two seats of Associate Professors and four seats of Assistant Professors and Lecturers would be held on Thursday 28th January 2016.

According to schedule, nomination papers would be received on 08th January and after scrutiny on same day, the list of nominated candidates would be declared on Thursday 14th January. The withdrawal of nomination would be accepted on Monday 18th January. And final list of nominated candidates would be issued on Friday 22nd January. After polling on 28th January, the official announcement of Election result would be made on 1st February 2016.

The university has appointed Registrar Ghulam Muhammad Bhutto, as Election/Returning Officer, while Ali Akbar Jalbani Computer programmer (Gen) and Waseem Ahmed Shaikh, Superintendent (Admn) are assigned to work as Assistant Returning officers for the said election.
